Diana Arboleda, PhD, PE, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Construction, and Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware. She is a committed and passionate educator with more than 10 years of experience in higher education. She specializes in structural engineering with specific emphasis on cementitious composites. Her research interests are centered around Engineering Education. Dr. Arboleda is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI). She is the past chair of ACI’s Education Activities Committee (EAC). Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Dr. Arboleda enjoyed a full 18-year career in industry as Principal Software Engineer at Motorola’s cell phone division.
